Rink Rats Go Wild in 2004

The Rodents plan to attend the NHL 2004 All-Star Game in St. Paul, Minneapolis.

Ever since being lucky enough to experience the NHL 2002 All-Star Game in LA, team manager Stan Greene has talked about organising a tour that will take in the 2004 All-star Game as well as playing against the Toronto Moose on their home ice.

Details are yet to be confirmed, but the basic outline might be as follows;

Depart Christchurch for LAX, January 27th 2004
Transfer to Anaheim for one day, visit Giant Hockey Equipment Superstore
Depart LAX for Toronto, January 28th
Spend five days in Toronto, play hockey, attend Maple Leafs game and visit Hockey Hall of Fame
Depart Toronto for St.Paul, Minneapolis, February 2nd
Spend five days in Minneapolis, play hockey, attend Wild game and attend/watch All-star Game
Depart Minneapolis for Christchurch, February 9th

Cost are yet to be confirmed, will be subject to the size of the touring party and are based on being billeted by the Moose while in Toronto.

Airfares, transfers, accommodation, Hockey Hall of Fame, All-Star Game Public
- $6,000 to $7,000
Tickets to the All-star Game and Skills Competition (optional)
- extra $3000 approx. TBC (depending on package selected and includes two nights accommodation at five-star hotel, tickets to all public activities, ticket to Skills afternoon, ticket to All-star Game, guest speaker at breakfast)
