BELL SAYS JUST ONE MORE RING

Christchurch, December 22nd, 2002

Three time Rodent Player of the Year winner Ian Bell says one more year, one more ring will do it.

And that year will be 2003.

The 46-year old Canadian has run into injuries and Father Time over the last two seasons, but still has been a leading scorer for the club.

Bell, who first came to New Zealand in 1990 with the Newmarket Bombers, has enjoyed a storied and productive time in the CIHA ranks.

Always rated as a scoring threat at any time when he is on the ice, Bell holds several
records for the Rink Rats, as well as the leading game-winning goal scorer (9) in 83 games.

He leads the club in points (96 in 55 games), goals (57), plus/minus (+75 over three seasons), power play goals, assists, points (6-4-10), short-handed goals, assists, points (5-1-6), and
game-winners (7).
